Routes and guided tours
Guided village tours (Luberon tourist office): themes of “heritage”, “history of ocher”, “know-how”.
Commented nature & culture walks: reading of landscape, geology, useful flora and traditions.
Music, festivals and shows (depending on season)
Concerts in churches and chapels: classical music, intimate jazz in summer.
Luberon festivals and stages in Apt/L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue: street theater, open-air cinema, temporary exhibitions.
Wednesdays in St. Saturnin-lès-Apt in summer
Good half-day combinations
Morning: castle + fountain trail in Saint‑Saturnin → lunch.
Afternoon: Ocher Conservatory in Roussillon (pigment workshop) → sunset at the Gordes belvedere.
Day: Industrial Adventure Museum in Apt + stroll in the old town → Blachère Foundation → return via Sénanque (outside if time is tight).
Practical advice
Opening times/closings: numerous slot visits, especially outside summer; check the day before.
Heat: favor indoors/workshops in the afternoon, outdoor sites in the morning or at the end of the day.
Reservations: pigment workshops, guided tours, Sénanque — book 24–48 hours in advance in high season.
Respect for places: silence at the abbey and in the churches; stay on ocher paths (friable cliffs).
